I cast-on my super Metal epic knitting project! I was inspired by the Knitallica Group on Ravelry to do a band inspired project, and there was no questions as to my band of choice...
I'm doing a double knit scarf with the Metallica ninja star and the classic name logo in black and red. I'm using a single ply wool - Lanaloft from Brown Sheep yarns. I bought one pound cones and have wound off single ounce balls, I'm about 1/2 ounce and I'm already half way through the star! I'm going to have enough to make a very long scarf!!!! It might be done before it gets cold, but I have lots of back-up scarfs just in case...
